Costa
Rican designer Lorena Barrantes found
the inspiration for her distinctive, one-of-a-kind jewelry in
the infinite variations and colors of the beads she discovered
in her travels around the world. Her designs reflect her fascination
in a wide variety of cultures and ethnicities, her passion for
creative design and merge Latin rhythm with the mysteries of
the Orient and the ongoing fusion of Western, African and Moslem
cultures. The beads she incorporates come from Thailand, Indonesia,
China, Nepal, India, Morocco, Brazil, Mexico, Tibet, The Netherlands,
the United States, Kenya, Ethiopia and South Saharan countries,
to mention a few.
